Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-04-21

Adam Gurski Creative is committed to making this website usable by the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technology. We treat accessibility as a design surface rather than a launch-week patch.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site is built, tested, and improved with that target in mind.

What is in place today

  • Keyboard navigation for primary site navigation, hero actions, work-reel links, service dialogs, hosting tabs, contact form, and case-study filter tabs.
  • Skip link at the top of every page for direct jump to main content.
  • Semantic HTML — landmarks (nav, main, footer), heading hierarchy, and ARIA labels on dialogs and form controls.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked aria-hidden.
  • Reduced-motion respect — the animated particle canvas and gradient loops honor prefers-reduced-motion: reduce.
  • Video posters — the portfolio work reel uses static posters and demand-driven playback, with reduced-motion and mobile guards.
  • Focus styling on interactive elements.

Known gaps

We track these honestly rather than hiding them:

  • Decorative gradient text contrast — a few non-interactive headline treatments use gradient clips. Interactive UI (buttons, links, chips) uses readable currentColor, not gradient clip.
  • Third-party destinations — outbound links to Instagram, Google, and client websites leave this site. We cannot control the accessibility of those destinations.
  • 3D / WebGL demos — the voxel-app and GemDefense projects are game-like canvases that may not be fully operable with a screen reader. They are labeled as interactive experiences and are opt-in from the homepage.

Assistive technology tested

  • NVDA on Windows
  • VoiceOver on macOS / iOS
  • Keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge

Enforcement notice (U.S.)

If you live in a jurisdiction with enforceable accessibility rules (for example, under the ADA in the United States) and believe this site falls short, contacting us first usually resolves the issue fastest. We want to hear about gaps so we can fix them.
